Privacy policy — English
1. What Veylu processes
Veylu processes text you enter, readable text on webpages, and currently loaded WhatsApp Web messages and drafts when you enable those optional features. This processing provides translation and draft assistance. Content scripts run on HTTP/HTTPS pages to display the translation controls. Page translation skips password fields, forms, editable areas and code. The WhatsApp master switch defaults to off unless you have saved a different choice.
2. On-device translation
Translation and language detection use Chrome’s built-in on-device APIs. Veylu does not send translation text to its developer or to an external translation API. It has no developer-hosted translation backend, advertising, analytics, tracking service or sale of user data. Chrome may download language/detection models; Chrome’s own network behavior and data handling are governed by Google and your browser settings.
3. Local storage and temporary memory
Local extension storage can contain language choices, favorites and ordering, theme, interface language, toolbar positions, visibility, reading preferences, language-model status/code markers, and WhatsApp switches and per-chat preferences. Chat identifiers or titles supplied by a webpage may be retained to associate preferences with the correct chat; these can include a contact name or phone number shown by that page.
Veylu does not persist original text, translated text, messages or draft bodies as translation history. Text needed for page restoration and per-chat draft recovery is kept temporarily in the active page’s memory. Refreshing or closing the page releases that memory. There is no extension account or extension cloud sync.
4. WhatsApp, clipboard and other parties
Optional draft assistance writes the translated text into the WhatsApp Web composer. Veylu never clicks Send or automatically sends messages. Text entered into a website’s composer may be processed, saved or synchronized by that website under its own policies, even before you send a message. Veylu does not control WhatsApp’s or Chrome’s independent practices. Explicit Copy actions write text to your system clipboard.
5. Controls, retention and deletion
Turn WhatsApp assistance off using the toolbar or its independent controls. Change preferences in Settings. Restore extension-owned webpage changes using the page controls. Uninstalling Veylu removes its extension settings; refresh open pages to remove injected controls and temporary page memory. Chrome-managed model storage is controlled by Chrome. The developer cannot remotely read or delete your local drafts or preferences.
6. Website and support
This public information website uses Cloudflare hosting. Cloudflare may process IP addresses and technical request information for delivery and security under its privacy policy. We add no advertising or analytics scripts, tracking cookies, account forms or payment forms here. If you email support, your email address and message are used to answer your request; email delivery is handled by email providers. Do not send private chat contents unless needed for your request.
7. Limited Use
Veylu’s use of user data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data is used only for the disclosed translation features and their operation. It is not sold, used for personalized advertising, credit decisions or unrelated monetization, or made available for human reading except when you explicitly share information for support or as legally required.
8. Pricing and changes
All features in this release are free. Paid WhatsApp features are planned for a future release. No payment or subscription system is implemented in this release. 本地扩展存储可保存语言、收藏及顺序、主题、界面语言、浮条位置、显示与阅读偏好、模型语言代码及状态、WhatsApp 开关和分聊天设置。用于关联聊天设置的聊天标识或标题可能包括网页显示的联系人名称、电话号码。原文、译文、消息及草稿正文不作为翻译历史持久保存；用于恢复网页或聊天草稿的内容仅暂存在当前页面内存，刷新或关闭页面后释放。不提供扩展账号或云同步。
第三方、剪贴板与用户控制
草稿辅助可把译文写入 WhatsApp 原生输入框，但Veylu不会自动发送消息。即使尚未发送，写入网站输入框的内容也可能由网站按其自身政策保存、同步或处理。Chrome、WhatsApp 的独立行为不由Veylu控制。明确点击复制时，文字会写入系统剪贴板。
可关闭 WhatsApp 总开关或独立功能，在设置中修改偏好，通过网页控件恢复扩展自己的改动。卸载会移除扩展设置；刷新页面会移除注入界面及临时内存。Chrome 模型由 Chrome 管理。开发者不能远程读取或删除你的本地草稿和偏好。
网站与支持邮件
本信息网站使用 Cloudflare 托管，Cloudflare 可依据其隐私政策处理 IP、技术请求信息以提供内容和安全服务。本站没有额外的广告、统计脚本、跟踪 Cookie、账号表单或支付表单。联系支持时，你的邮箱及邮件内容用于回复问题，并由邮件服务商处理传递；请勿在不必要时发送私人聊天内容。
有限使用与更新
Veylu的数据使用遵守 Chrome 网上应用店用户数据政策及 Limited Use 要求，仅用于已说明的翻译功能及其运行，不出售数据，不用于个性化广告、信用决策或无关变现；除你为支持明确提供的内容或法律要求外，不向人员提供阅读。

Veylu procesa localmente el texto introducido, páginas legibles y, al activar las funciones opcionales, los mensajes y borradores cargados en WhatsApp Web. Los scripts de contenido muestran controles en páginas HTTP/HTTPS. La traducción de páginas omite contraseñas, formularios, zonas editables y código. WhatsApp está desactivado por defecto si no hay una elección guardada.
La traducción y detección usan las API locales de Chrome. Veylu no envía el texto al desarrollador ni a una API externa. No tiene servidor de traducción del desarrollador, anuncios, analítica, seguimiento ni venta de datos. Chrome puede descargar modelos; sus prácticas dependen de Google y de los ajustes del navegador.
El almacenamiento local puede incluir idiomas, favoritos y orden, tema, idioma de interfaz, posiciones, visibilidad, lectura, códigos y estados de modelos y preferencias por chat. Los identificadores o títulos de chat pueden incluir nombres o números mostrados por la página. El texto original, las traducciones, mensajes y borradores no se guardan como historial; se mantienen temporalmente en la memoria de la página para restaurar contenido y se liberan al recargarla o cerrarla.
